How much does digital signage monthly rental cost in Malaysia?

Nugens Flexi Rental comes in three types. USB plug-and-play standees are RM149 per month for 32 inch, RM199 for 43 inch, and RM239 for 55 inch. Windows standees with the cloud content manager are RM249, RM289, and RM329. Windows touchscreen standees are RM259, RM299, and RM349. Upfront you pay a refundable 3-month deposit, the first month, a one-time RM99 processing fee, and a one-time Deployment Fee from RM450 that covers delivery, installation and collection at the end. Warranty and support are included for the whole rental.

There is a 12-month minimum term, then it becomes month to month. After that you can hand the screen back anytime with 30 days notice. Collection is already covered by the Deployment Fee you paid at the start, and your deposit is refunded after a quick inspection.

Who can rent Flexi Rental?

Any SSM-registered business in Malaysia: sole proprietors, partnerships, and Sdn Bhd companies. There is a quick credit check, then monthly auto-billing on your card.

Is this available outside Klang Valley?

Yes, anywhere in Peninsular Malaysia. The monthly rent is the same everywhere. Only the one-time Deployment Fee changes with your service zone: RM450 for Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor, RM900 for Penang, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor, and RM1,300 for Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Perlis and Kedah. That one fee covers delivery, installation and the collection at the end. Rental is not available in Sabah, Sarawak or Labuan, but you can buy a screen outright there and we will quote delivery and installation separately.

What is the cheapest monthly way to get a screen running?

If you need the hardware too, our rental is the answer and the quote above covers it. If you already own a TV and just need the software monthly, you can go a lot lower: Layar, a Malaysian cloud platform, is RM15 per screen per month and gives you one screen free. We name it because it is the honest answer to the question, not because it replaces a rental with hardware in it.
