People ask us why not just put a TV on a bracket. Here is the honest answer.
Portrait, made for poster content. The player is inside so no cables show. The panel is rated for 12-hour daily use over 5 to 8 years, and it works offline.
A TV is landscape, so portrait content gets letterboxed or needs rotation tricks. You need an external player and the cables show. Consumer panels are not made to run 12 hours a day. Good at home, not at a shopfront.
Already own TVs and want them scheduled instead? That's our TV signage system from RM1,499, a different product. If it suits your case better, we will say so.
How much does a digital standee cost in Malaysia?
A complete digital standee package starts from RM3,999 one-time. That covers the floor-standing display, the built-in Windows player, SmartScheduler software with a lifetime licence, and installation. There is no monthly software fee. If you only need it short-term, day rental is RM329 per unit per day.
Can I rent a digital standee for an event?
Yes. Day rental is RM329 per unit per day, and it suits events, launches, exhibitions and roadshows. Transport within Klang Valley is RM150–300 per trip, refundable deposit RM1,500 per unit, and a content materials insert of up to 10 items is included. Touchscreen units +RM100/unit; after-hours or weekend delivery +RM50/trip. Rental working hours are Mon–Fri 10am–6pm. Full details on the rental page.
What sizes are available?
Standee sizes are 43", 55", 65" and 75", all portrait. 43" is the most popular size, for entrances, aisles and ordering points. 55" gives more presence in lobbies and malls. 65" and 75" suit atriums, halls and flagship stores. Wall-mounted screens run 15" to 100". Custom sizes possible from our own factory.
Is there really no monthly fee?
Yes. Pay once and the licence is lifetime. There is no subscription and no renewal next year. The only ongoing cost is electricity.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Your content is stored inside the standee, so it keeps playing on schedule when wifi drops. You only need internet when pushing new content to the unit.
What content can it play?
Images, videos, menus and PDFs, all in portrait. You can schedule breakfast, lunch and dinner content by time of day, or run different campaigns on weekends. Your staff updates it from a laptop or phone after a 30-minute training.
I have multiple outlets. Can standees be managed centrally?
Yes. The Central Control package, from RM5,499 per screen, covers every branch with one login. Push one campaign everywhere or send different content per outlet. Pathlab runs this across more than 8 branches.
What's the warranty?
PC hardware 2 years, display panel 1 year. Extended warranty is available on request. You are welcome to see the exact unit running at our Puchong showroom before you decide.
